Welcome to Kaleidoscope Dance Awards
Join us for our 31st season!
Kaleidoscope Dance Awards made its’ debut in November 1994, at a time when no competitions ventured in to New Hampshire. Under the direction of Melissa Hoffman, a 35-year studio owner and adjudicator, Kaleidoscope has become known as the “dance family competition” and “the dress rehearsal for the season”. Our judging panel speaks non-stop in order to help studio directors, choreographers and dancers learn from their performance. The atmosphere amongst studios is always supportive and friendly! After all, that is what it is all about– education and friendships!
Why Choose Us?
- We are an all inclusive, family friendly event. Studios large or small are treated with the same respect!
- Our judges are dance educators that truly care! Your dancers will receive usable feedback to prepare for their next event.
- We have stuck with traditional/realistic scoring for over 30 years. You will observe that we allow our judges to utilize the full scale of medal standings. Your dancers will receive honest medal standings.
- No media fees! Media is free to teachers and your families!
- Organized and on time events! Guaranteed no start time prior to 4pm on weekdays. Friday and Saturday end time by 10pm and Sunday by 8pm.
- We will provide a teacher’s room with refreshments daily.
- Only cash awards! Not credits for future events.
- No deposits required to reserve your spot!
- We choose to give back as much as we can to the dancers and teachers. Therefore, you will note that we have chosen that over glitz and glam.
Kaleidoscope Dance Awards is committed to giving back to our local communities. In lieu of placement trophies, monetary donations are made to local charities in the amount that is equivalent to the cost of trophies. Dancers will receive medal standing award bracelets. Overall winners will receive trophies.
