COVID-19

We are in an unprecedented time.  Changes occur daily. Therefore, we will not be collecting entry fees until one week prior to the event.  In the event a cancellation is necessary you will be refunded. Our biggest concern is the safety of all.  All dancers, teachers and parents will be asked to adhere to our Covid-19 protocols. 

***Please note these could also change based on the venue and any changes in our region.  We will update all information in this regard right before the event. 

• We will be screening anyone coming into the building.  This will involve answering the Covid-19 questions required at that time. 
• Each studio may have their own time block in which to perform
• Social distancing will be marked in the changing areas as well as backstage
• Dancers should arrive ready for their first routine. No more than 30 minutes early to avoid too many dancers in the dressing area
• Masks will be worn in all common areas.  Masks can be worn to perform if wanted.  This will not affect scoring.
• Costumes have always been optional for Kaleidoscope Dance Awards.  Costume is not part of scoring.
• Medal standing awards will be done at the completion of each studio’s performances.  Overall awards will be done the Monday following an event.
• We may need to limit the audience to  one parent or guardian per dancer.  This will depend on the venues rules.  
• We will do our best to Live stream when possible
• All dressing areas, backstage, stage will be disinfected between each studio’s performance block.
